This lesson we'll focus on...

* How To Use Banner Ads To Promote Your Own Offers, Internally
(on your own web site) *

Banner ads are everywhere on the net.

People know that when they click on a banner that it will take them
through to something that usually solves a problem for them, and/ or may cost them money.

Use this web 'headset" to your own advantage by running your own banner ads, on your own site, with your own offers.

So, how do I know this works? Well, I've tried it.

I ran a simple, text-based banner ad for my *Taming The eBeastie* e-report series (you have signed up I hope) at the bottom of EVERY page on FYHM as a test.

I was literally stunned by the results. The TEB sign ups spiked dramatically.

Now, these were people who were already on my site, clicking around. All I did was gave them directions... a large percentage followed my directions".

Put this (focus your traffic) text banner on EVERY page of your web site.

It matters.

Why? "DABRS"... or "deficit attention banner read syndrome".

You see we are all exposed to multiple promotional messages all the time. If your banner says (over and over) click here to get this 'benefit', eventually a percentage of people already on your site will do just that (click).

Also, be discrete with the banner placement on your site.

I used the banner at the very end of every page, so it would not distract people from the content they were reading. It was just "there", gently reminding them about the "benefit" of 'clicking here'.

Simple Text ads banners work best. They're inconspicuous and a simple action statement can "tell" them the benefit of their click.

Of course if you're using an Solo Build It! site then making global changes to footer banners on your web site is very easy, and it takes about 5 minutes to do.
